This was the car my parents bought for me to use. I only have this one picture of it which sucks. I wasn't much of a picture taker back then. 64K miles $2,400 for the car $600 for the donor car(white car behind the gold car) and I think $600 for paint brings the total to $3,600 for a 07 Impreza. This was also in 2019. I was able to pass inspection and my dad applied for the title. We then sold it. In 2025 my friend bought it from the person we sold it too.
This was my first car, I bought it at 16 back in may, 2020 for $2,350. it had 146k miles and was a very good car. unfortunately the engine blew and I before I could make any significant progress on an engine swap I left for basic training. When I got back I went straight into it and swapped a 3.8 sc engine from a '96 Buick. unfortunately I couldn't get that engine to start, so I swapped in a regular 3.8 from an 04 Monte Carlo. unfortunately that didn't work either. I eventually took the loss and made the most of it and found my current Monte Carlo.
Bought for 1200, traded for '03 Mazda6. Definitely won the trade, the Capri is so niche and very hard to find parts. like a running car with 76k miles should be able to be sold for $1,500, right? Well not this one, I guess. I started the listing off at $3,000, dropped it too $1,500 and still no one wanted it. The lesson here is to make sure you have a target audience that will buy the car.
Bought it as a no start no crank. this car has a breathalyzer in it that was poorly removed. You can see the issue now. A day of fully removing everything and the car was good to go.
Got in the Capri trade. it had a broken lower subframe. common issue on these cars. I really enjoyed this car when I was driving it for a little bit. The 5 speed was super smooth and it pulled compared to a Miata. Sad to see go, I was really tempted to keep this and sell the monte but this had close to 150k on the clock.
Got it from a friends grandma, kind of rusty on the bottom. Was definitely used as a work truck. I used it for a few truck things then sold it as the truck just wasn't what I wanted. Would definitely consider a different truck though.
I bought this Miata as a Salvage title car. I did all the repairs necessary to make it road legal again, just the front windshield funny enough. I took some of the aftermarket parts off this car and put them on my 1990. I sold it for 2,500.
This was my friends that car hit a deer, he went thru insurance so I bought it back from him for 1,600. All it needed was a new fender, headlight, bumper cover, hood and some elbow grease and then it was good to go.
The least interesting one from the looks, but was a really cool project for me. I bought the Monte off someone who had a front end collision. I used parts from my previous car which also happened to be a 05 Monte to fix up this one. I bought it with 67k and sold it with 91k on the clock sad to see it go but it was time.
